Which option is right for me?+
If you like to study on your own, start with Self-Study. If you want to practice speaking with real people, join the CC Club. If you have a specific goal and want a program built around you, apply for CC Coaching. You can switch anytime.
What level do I need?+
Any level from beginner up. Beginners start with the Fundamentos course for a clear path. Intermediate and advanced learners get the most from the episode worksheets, Adventures with Alexia and, in the Club, the live classes.
How does coaching work, and what does it cost?+
Packages begin at $600, depending on the number of sessions and the scope of your program. We start with a Portuguese assessment and a coaching call, then build a curriculum around your goals. Coaching is by application only, so start here.
Isn't the podcast free?+
Yes, and it stays free. Membership adds what the free show can't: a worksheet for every episode, the Fundamentos course, Adventures with Alexia and, in the Club, live classes with us. It also keeps the free show going.
Is the podcast all in Portuguese?+
Yes. Every episode is a natural conversation between us in Brazilian Portuguese. The worksheets give you the full transcript with vocabulary, expressions, grammar and cultural notes, so you can follow along. See a free sample worksheet.
Is it Brazilian Portuguese, not European?+
Completely Brazilian. Alexia is from Rio, and everything we teach is the Portuguese Brazilians actually speak: accent, slang, rhythm and all.
