Our story
Ten years of Carioca Connection.
We released our first episode on May 3rd, 2016. We had no idea what we were doing. We just wanted to help people learn Portuguese the way Brazilians actually speak it — through real conversation, real culture, and a lot of laughter.
Ten years, 400+ episodes, 500,000+ downloads, and listeners in 140+ countries later, we're still here. Still doing it. And on May 3rd, 2026, we're relaunching with something we're genuinely proud of.
