sul — the trap of the class. The final L is not an English L. Alexia's fix: it lands closer to an R, with the lips rounded, "tem que fazer o biquinho." Speakers coming from Spanish reach for sur or sud; both are wrong este / leste — both exist for east. Costa leste is the standard collocation caçar / casar — ç and s are doing all the work here.
